The Anaheim Ducks and Orange County Public Libraries once again present Wild Wing's Winter Reading Challenge, a six-week reading program designed to inspire young readers across Orange County.
Open to children ages 4-12, participants track their reading minutes throughout the winter while earning Anaheim Ducks-themed incentives and building lifelong reading habits. Parents and caregivers may read with and on behalf of children who are not yet independent readers.
Information on Wild Wing's Winter Reading Challenge 2026 Coming Soon!
To celebrate the launch of Wild Wing's Winter Reading Challenge, the Anaheim Ducks and Orange County Public Libraries will host two Faceoff for Literacy kickoff events at select library locations. Families can enjoy hockey-themed activities, games, crafts, author presentations, and a special appearance by Wild Wing, while learning more about the program and registering for the challenge.
